Processing
O-rings and elastomer mouldings are geased before assembly in order to prevent damage or to ensure smooth running properties.In Transmission & Distribution Paste AP, for example, is used for the easy insulation of Cable Ends or Cable Joints.
Storage
POWERSIL®PASTE AP has a shelf life o f at least 18months when stored between 5 and 30 in the originally sealed container .The best use before end date of each batch appears on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable .In this case however ,the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
